Nester Hosiery is a rapidly growing US-based sock manufacturer. To keep pace with increased sales, Nester turned to Mobile Foundry to build an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to automate the operation of their supply chain, manufacturing operations, and demand chain.

The SockInfo system receives and imports orders from EDI, web, and manual sources. It generates and delivers invoices, shipping details, and inventory management information to Nester staff and trading partners. Historical order information combines with a flexible planning system to calculate demand and schedule production for over 5000 SKUs. The system delivers configurable sales, shipping, inventory, and planning reports daily via e-mail to selected partners. Reports reference over 5 years of history spanning 200K+ shipments and 2.5 million line items.
